This longbow makes a great Renaissance Faire bow! Right-handed (can easily be converted to left-handed upon request) custom traditional 66 inch all heartwood yew longbow hand-made from spliced staves (spliced at the handle). Tillered to draw 40 pounds at a 28 inch draw length (please note 28" is the maximum draw length for this bow - see Draw Weight Curve chart for draw weights at shorter draw lengths). Approximately 1 inch of set at rest right after shooting. "D" shaped belly with deer antler nock tips with stringer grooves.
Dark Red Mahogany colored stain, finished with six coats of shellac and buffed with steel wool and wax polish. Matching custom hand-cut and hand-sewn suede grip with suede arrow pass (shoot off the hand).
Hand-made 14-strand B55 Dacron flemish twist string (Black and Red) with black center serving material and green nocking points.
Includes stringer, leather string keeper (holds the string on the bow when unstrung) and fleece bow sock.
